The North Bellmore School District welcomes Kevin McElroy as the new assistant principal of John G. Dinkelmeyer Elementary School.

As they took seats at picnic tables in the garden, third graders at Park Avenue Elementary School were officially declared entomologists.

Just like they will at the end of high school, sixth graders throughout the North Bellmore School District put on their caps and gowns to close out an important chapter in their lives.

Nearly 50 recent high school graduates returned to the place where their education foundation was laid, as Saw Mill Road Elementary School hosted a Class of 2026 clap-out on June 22.

A dozen North Bellmore School District educators and support staff members will soon begin a new chapter in their lives, and the community came together to honor them on June 11.

The free marketplace came to the third grade classrooms of John G. Dinkelmeyer Elementary School on June 8.

A solar phenomenon was the inspiration for a third grade art project at Martin Avenue Elementary School. Students completed drawings to capture the northern lights.  

String students from North Bellmore’s five elementary schools came together for the annual District Orchestra Winter Concert on Dec. 8 at the Brookside School.

JoAnn Belferder’s classroom was filled with energy for a lesson on that scientific concept on Nov. 20 at Newbridge Road Elementary School.

Integers, rational numbers and the coordinate plane may seem like advanced math concepts, but sixth graders at Saw Mill Road Elementary School are mastering the topics.
