Park Avenue Buddies Go On a Fall Nature Walk

Students walking outside.

Kindergartners and sixth graders at Park Avenue Elementary School recently explored the wonders of fall together.

Students from Sarah Mazeika’s kindergarten class went outside with their sixth grade buddies from Nicole Giusto’s class. With clipboards and checklists in hand, they looked around the school yard together for different color leaves, acorns, pinecones, flowers and more. The buddies enjoyed some time together exploring nature and sixth graders helped their young friends learn about the world around them.
