Dear North Bellmore School District Community,

Good afternoon.

As previously shared, the Bellmore-Merrick Childcare Program informed the District that they will no longer provide before and after care in North Bellmore School District commencing in the 2026-27 school year.   After a thorough review of multiple proposals for before and after school care services, the Board of Education is pleased to share that SCOPE Educational Services has been selected as the provider.

The Board carefully evaluated each proposal based on the district’s established list of priorities, including program quality, student safety, operational experience, and alignment with the needs of our families. Following this review process, SCOPE Educational Services was selected to offer before and after care services to our community.

The district is working collaboratively with SCOPE to move forward with the implementation of the before and after care program effective September 2026. Additional details regarding program enrollment, schedules, and logistics will be shared with families as they become available.  At this time please refrain from contacting SCOPE until further details have been shared.
