NORTH BELLMORE SCHOOL DISTRICT DESIGNATED AS A BEST COMMUNITY FOR MUSIC EDUCATION
Dear North Bellmore Families, Staff, and Community Members,
We are proud to share the exciting news that the North Bellmore School District has been recognized by The National Association of Music Merchants Foundation (NAMM) as a Best Community for Music Education for 2026.
This prestigious national designation celebrates school districts that demonstrate exceptional commitment to providing students with access to high-quality music education as part of a well-rounded academic experience. This honor reflects the dedication and talent of our students, the passion and expertise of our music educators, the strong support of our administrators, families and community, and the continued commitment of our Board of Education.
From our earliest grades through our comprehensive band, orchestra, choral programs, and festival band and chorus opportunities, music instruction is an integral part of the North Bellmore educational experience. In addition to performance opportunities, our students benefit from music education in the classroom, including the study of music history, cultural traditions, and the fundamentals of music literacy, helping to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the art form.
We are especially proud that this recognition highlights not only the strength of our programs, but also our shared belief in the importance of music education in fostering creativity, collaboration, and personal growth in every child.
