Second graders at Martin Avenue Elementary School scrolled into summer with their colorful emoji projects. Students in Antonietta Fischetti’s class created three emojis based on the writing prompts:  

* My favorite second grade memory. 

* My goals for the next school year. 

* What I am looking forward to this summer. 

The project gave students time to reflect on their accomplishments and set ambitions for the future.
