FIFTH GRADE

Fifth grade students first learned about architecture and architectural elements.  We practiced drawing our house from memory each week. 

Our future cities are based on a class brainstorm session, where we speculated on where future cities might be located.

Using all of this new information, we designed our own future cities.  We used paint, marker, cra-pas and texture to color them in.

Our study of architecture finished with a building session using toothpicks and marshmallows!
