| The North Bellmore UFSD Calendar
is designed to provide the members of our school-community information
about upcoming events and activities. The version accessible from the drop-down menu above is a duplicate of the printed calendar published and distributed early in the school year. This includes information
that we hope will be of interest and use to you. Additional information
regarding school events and activities will be disseminated from our
schools and this Web site during the year.

John G. Dinkelmeyer School, Jacob Gunther School, Martin Avenue School,
Newbridge Road School, Park Avenue School, Saw Mill Road School. Each
school is scheduled on a six day cycle. The numbered day appears next
to the dates on the calendar.
Upon completion of the sixth grade, children continue
their education in the Middle and High Schools of the Bellmore-Merrick
Central High School District.
North Bellmore Schools, which are recognized for their
fine educational programs, are child-centered schools that help children
to be lifelong learners. The District recognizes the importance of enabling
our children to exceed the New York State Learning standards. The importance
of good citizenship, building character and encouraging children to respect
themselves and others is emphasized.
The Board of Education, administration, teachers, support
staff, parents, and community members work together to make our district
a wonderful place for children to grow and learn. The responsibility
to ensure our children are prepared for the challenges of the future
is a shared one. Our parents and community members are encouraged to
participate in the educational process.
