Congratulations to the North Bellmore Elementary School District: WE PASSED! That means a lot for the children of Saw Mill. Thanks to all who voted.

Last month we had our Plant Sale and Special Person’s Day. Our 3^rd graders worked extremely hard on their Third Grade Dance. Their theme was High School Musical 2. It was a great show and they were all stars.

Project Rise ended and as the little ones get ready to start a new adventure at Saw Mill, our 6^th graders prepare to leave and start their new adventure at Grand Avenue Middle School. We wish them all the best of luck and remind them that Saw Mill will always be "home".

Field Day was a huge success, as always. The weather was perfect and we all had a fun time. In celebration of the Summer Olympics, Saw Mill had it’s own mini-Olympics. Each class chose a country to represent and made banners to honor that country. Our "Olympian’s" marched onto the field to the music of our wonderful 5^th and 6^th grade bands. Then the games began. In keeping with our Olympic theme, the Chinese Acrobats wowed the children during our assembly time. Thanks to all those parents who volunteered to make this day such a success.

Summer Bridge Books - The books will be in shortly and will be delivered to the students in their classrooms.

School Supplies -For those parents who ordered school supplies for next year, they will be delivered to the school within the next 3 weeks. Notices will go home advising parents when they will be available for pick up.
