                   On September 9, 2011, we gathered as a school community in a spirit of hope and unity to honor and pay tribute to the victims of 9/11. Our program's theme was inspired by Gandhi's quote and President Obama's words when he designated       September 11 as a National Day of Service and Remembrance.

                  In order to reclaim a spirit of unity, students, faculty, and staff members had the opportunity at our assembly today to develop an "I will pledge" that reflects what we plan to do to change the world and make it a better place.
